The Grand Valley Mustangs dominated the Brooklyn Hurricanes early on in a 47-14 win.
Luke Giddings scored the first two touchdowns for the Mustangs early on in the opening quarter. Giddings scored on runs of three-yard and two-yards.
Carter Turk later found Caden Rowland for a 15-yard touchdown pass, upping the score to 21-0.
Grand Valley continued to dominate after getting the ball right back on offense. Rowland promptly added an 8-yard touchdown, making it 27-0.
The Hurricanes would get on the board with an 80-yard touchdown return by Perez, making the score 27-6.
Grand Valley added two more touchdowns before halftime. Rowland added a 17-yard touchdown run, making it 33-6.
Turner Hejduk also added a 15-yard touchdown, making it 40-6 going into halftime.
Luke Giddings added a 6-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, upping the score to 47-6.
Millian added a 10-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter for the Hurricanes, making the final score 47-14 after a two-point conversion.
Grand Valley starts the season 1-0 and will host the Southeast Pirates in week two.
