The St. John Heralds softball team bounced back from a loss to the Pymatuning Valley Lakers with a big 20-0 win over Andrews Osborne Academy.
The Heralds were no stranger to high scoring games in their last four contests with a 16-0 loss to Pymatuning Valley, a 13-10 win over Lordstown and another 14-1 loss to Pymatuning Valley.
St. John let the sticks do the talking in their 20-0 win over Andrews Osborne.
As a team the Heralds collected 14 hits and also drew 14 walks.
St. John scored one run in the first inning, eight runs in the second inning, one run in the third inning, four runs in the fourth inning and six more runs in the fifth winning in the lopsided win.
Maddie Holler pitched all five innings for the Heralds and allowed zero runs on one hit, two walks and 11 strikeouts.
Izzy Schuller suffered the loss for Andrews Osborne pitching five innings and giving up 20 runs on 14 hits, 14 walks and zero strikeouts.
