ORWELL – Grand Valley Schools is holding its Back to School Bash on Aug. 5.
Ashley Hall, community liaison and manager of The Mustang Stable for GVLS, said the Back to School Bash is being held 4-7 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 5, to avoid the conflict with the Ashtabula County Fair but also so that parents can take advantage of Ohio’s sales tax holiday (which begins Aug. 7) to purchase any additional school items they may still need to obtain.
“The annual Back to School Bash connects GV families with supplies and resources they need to send their children back to school with confidence and ready for success,” Hall said.
The annual event is designed to support local families and students as they prepare for the school year.
“The main event will take place inside the high school auditeria so that it can go forward rain or shine, but we do have space outside the event entrance,” Hall wrote.
There will be numerous activities for families to take part in, as they also can receive school supplies, clothing and more for students heading back to school.
For information on taking part or donating, contact Hall at 440-805-4565 or ashley.hall@grandvalley.school.
