The Geneva Eagles 50/70 All-Star team marched their way through the tournament bracket to advance in the state tournament without a loss.
Geneva defeated Kingsville in the championship game 9-5.
Kingsville broke out for a 3-0 lead, but Geneva slowly chipped away at the lead. The Eagles scored a run in the second inning and two runs in the third inning to knot the game up at 3-3.
Geneva then exploded for six runs in the fourth inning to take a commanding 9-3 lead. Kingsville added a run in both the sixth and seventh inning, but fell 9-5.
Zayden Wick started on the mound for Kingsville and pitched two innings. Wick gave up one run on one hit, two walks and three strikeouts.
Jack Oliver pitched two innings and gave up eight runs, five earned, on five hits, five walks and two strikeouts.
Lucas Wilson pitched two innings and allowed zero runs on one walk and three strikeouts.
Adam Cochran started on the mound for Geneva and pitched six and two-third innings. Cochran gave up four runs, zero earned, on five hits, two walks and nine strikeouts.
Noah Crites pitched the final out after giving up one run on two hits.
