GENEVA – The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business Expo is making a later appearance this year.
Held in February in past years, the 2026 event will take place from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at Geneva High School. Admission, refreshments and a raffle for door prizes are free.
“The Expo was moved to April 23 to take advantage of the nicer weather and absence of a (Ashtabula County) home show,” Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Andrew Raymond said.
The event features tables with local businesses’ products and services on display, according to the Chamber.
Raymond noted that it’s a popular event with visitors.
“The public likes it,” he said. “It’s one-stop. They come out and see a bunch of different businesses’ goods. They don’t have to drive around or go online and search all this different stuff.”
The vendors also like the Business Expo, Raymond noted.
“The vendors love it because it’s one time of year they get to be in the same room with a bunch of other businesses,” he said, noting they can make connections and see services they’re looking for.
At the 2025 event, Crawford Agency Inc. of Geneva was one of the many businesses at the expo.
Emily Nicholson, an agent with Crawford, was happy to attend.
“It’s a good opportunity to interact with the public, let them know about our services, give them some pens, calendars,” she said. “It just keeps our name out in the community.”
Ducro Services was another company letting visitors know about its services, such as pet cremation, at the 2025 event.
Sandra Reed, a pet loss specialist, said she enjoyed being at the expo and sharing information with people about the pet cremations.
“People really do like it,” she said of the service. “Their pets are their family.”
