The Geneva Eagles football team started fast and never looked back in a Division III playoff football game against the Alliance Aviators.
With the win Geneva improved to 9-2, while Alliance ended their season at 8-3.
Caden Proy scored on a 66-yard touchdown run to start the game for Geneva.
The Eagles defense would also set the tone early, with a goal-line stand to force a turnover.
Proy quickly added a 46-yard touchdown, upping the score to 12-0.
Bryce Peet added a 4-yard touchdown run, increasing the score to 19-0.
JR Jackson put the Aviators on the board with a 39-yard touchdown, making it 19-6.
Proy responded for the Eagles with a 1-yard touchdown run, making it 26-6.
Proy put the finishing touches on his night with a 67-yard touchdown, making it 33-6 after the extra point by Zach McKinney.
Jackson put Alliance back on the board with a 14-yard touchdown, making it 33-12.
Cooper Dubsky added a 6-yard touchdown run for Geneva in the fourth quarter, making it 40-12.
Brody Hamm scored the final touchdown of the game on a 4-yard run, making it 46-12.
Geneva will now face Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy next week in the quarterfinals.
