CONNEAUT – The D-Day Ohio WWII Museum is pleased to announce its 2026 Open House featuring performances by The Everley Sisters on Saturday, July 11, from noon to 5 p.m.
Nearly 11 years ago, two sisters and their close friend combined their love of music and their passion for WWII era History and The Everley Sisters were born. The Everley Sisters are a three-part harmony trio, performing in the style of the beloved Andrews Sisters. They have performed at numerous public and private events, up and down the East Coast, including WWII Reenactments, VFW’s, Veterans Events, Community Events, Theaters, Swing Dances, Care Homes, Picnics and more which led to their being invited to perform in France as part of the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings.
The Everley Sisters are scheduled to perform at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and each 30-minute set will be different.
Among the Reenactors this year will be Steve Miller with a special exhibit entitled SHORE LEAVE: HONOLULU.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, museum displays have been updated for this season and the museum now has information on the service of over 420 different WWII veterans.
Additional display information includes the use of the Swastika prior to WWII and the key role played by the highly decorated Native American Marine unit, the Navajo Code Talkers.
Information on getting involved in living history as a WWII reenactor will be available, as well as information on volunteering at the Museum and next month’s D-Day Conneaut annual event.
This year marks the 82nd anniversary of D-Day and our annual D-Day Conneaut reenactment will be held on Thursday, Aug. 13, through Saturday, Aug. 15, at Conneaut Township Park.

The D-Day Ohio WWII Museum, 851 Harbor St, is housed in the historic 1914 Hungarian Church on the corner of Lake Road and Harbor Street in Conneaut.
The museum is open noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend with extended hours during the D-Day Conneaut event.
