CONNEAUT – On March 3, 2026, the Conneaut Youth Center was presented with a check for $1,000 from the Matthew Children’s Foundation.
The Matthews Children’s Foundation is an organization within the Matthews Aurora Casket Company. Each year they provide grants to nonprofits that are based on improving the lives of children.
To receive the grant, any nonprofit who meets these criteria can be recommended by a funeral home in the area who is a supplier of Matthew Aurora Caskets.
The Marcy Funeral Home in Conneaut was able to help the Conneaut Youth Center receive this amazing grant by applying and writing a letter of recommendation.
The Conneaut Youth Center is a fantastic program which provides services and mentorship to the youth of Conneaut.
Their vision is to see every young person in the community confident, equipped with essential life skills, supported by positive relationships, and empowerment to make a meaningful impact in their schools, families and beyond.
