JEFFERSON – The Grand Valley Mustangs junior league baseball team cruised to a 22-10 win over the Jefferson Falcons junior league team. The Mustangs scored nine runs in the opening inning to take a commanding lead.

JEFFERSON - The Jefferson Falcons summer league baseball team hosted the Geneva Eagles on Tuesday, June 6. Jefferson won the game 9-2 behind six solid innings from Jake Reid. Jacob Wilms started on the mound for the Eagles.

JEFFERSON – The Jefferson Area Little League held their opening ceremony inside the Jefferson High School gym on Friday,  May 5 due to the weather. All of the teams were announced as they walked to the middle of the gym.

JEFFERSON - The Jefferson Junior League Black baseball team hosted the Pymatuning Valley Tribe in a recent junior league baseball match up. Jefferson won the game 15-3, thanks in large part to an eight run third inning.

PERRY - The Geneva Eagles boys track team captured the Division II district meet championship at Perry High School on Saturday, May 20. The Eagles finished with 81 points over Orange with 80 points. The Jefferson Falcons rounded out the top three with 72 points.
