Jefferson earns big win over Geneva

With the loss the Eagles fell to 12-7 on the season. Jefferson was able to take advantage of the Eagles resting injured started Hailey Peoples in a non-conference game. However, it wasn't easy as Miranda Francis tried to pick up the slack inside for the Eagles. The Falcons led 10-2 to start the game behind four points from Maddy Hitchcock.

Falcons fall to Eagles

The Falcons started slow in the game as Hubbard led 9-5 after one quarter of action. Sam Hitchcock scored four of the Falcons five points in the opening quarter. Shannon Slovesko led the Eagles with five points, while Dillion O'Hara added four points. Jefferson battled back in the second quarter to take a 27-24 lead into halftime.

Beavers step up big in win over Blue Streaks

PAINESVILLE - On Friday night the home Riverside Beavers pulled together a big upset and won over the visiting Madison Blue Streaks by a score of 78 to 70.

Geneva wins wrestling duals

CONNEAUT -The OHSAA has begun a new tournament in the past few years, it is the wrestling dual meet. In this event, wrestlers compete and advance as a team. In the OHSAA individual Sectionals, District and State matches later in February, wrestlers advance as individuals.
