Crossroads, Beacon Health unite

MENTOR – Crossroads and Beacon Health announced that the organizations have decided to merge to more effectively support the mental health needs of both children and adults in Lake County. Both organizations are known leaders in the mental and behavioral health field, the new organization will leverage combined resources to more efficiently provide innovative care for clients and their families throughout all of life’s stages.

NORTH PERRY – Ground was broken October 1974 for construction of the Perry Nuclear Power Plant on the 1,100-acre site on shore of Lake Erie. It was the 100th nuclear plant to be built in the country and it began operation Nov. 19, 1987.

PAINESVILLE – The Lake County Board of Elections met Nov. 21 to certify the official results of the Nov. 7 General Election. At that time the BOE determined there needed to be two automatic recounts.

OFBF Young Agricultural Professional leaders elected

Ohio Farm Bureau’s Young Agricultural Professionals have elected their leaders for 2018. Wes and Brandi Montgomery of Fayette County were elected chaircouple, Dustin and Casey Converse of Union County were elected co-chairs, and Liza Musselman of Pickaway County was elected secretary.
