PHILADELPHIA _ The Cleveland Indians erased all the negative numbers from their past three games with a few well-aimed swings of the bat Wednesday at Citizens Bank Park.
In beating the Phillies, 10-4, to split the two-game series, the Indians looked a lot more like the offensive juggernaut that has compiled a 14-4 record since April 28 than the club that scored three runs in three games through Tuesday, batted .187 and was 1-for-15 with runners in scoring position.

BEREA, Ohio _ If the clock were turned back to the first time Mike Lombardi had a hand in the Browns' draft, Barkevious Mingo would never have been their sixth overall pick.

Marte has blossomed at the top of the order, finishing April with a first-inning batting average of .636 and a first-inning on-base percentage of .692.

May 05--Perhaps no pitcher in baseball history had a more anticipated debut than Stephen Strasburg. Billed as a once-in-a-generation arm, Strasburg was not only a former No. 1 overall draft pick who possessed precise command of an upper 90s fastball and plus off-speed pitches, but no similar talent had debuted in such a media-saturated era.
