“The Zonta Club of Ashtabula Area is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year – a milestone for any service organization,” Committee member Lois Jones said. “Zonta’s mission is to encourage, empower and educate women locally and globally.”
Jones said this year’s theme of “Run for the Roses” will feature a Kentucky Derby atmosphere that encourages guests to wear their derby hats.
“The luncheon is Zonta’s largest yearly fundraiser, with proceeds providing financial support for scholarships and community organizations who advance the status of women worldwide,” Jones said.
Tickets are $25 each and reservations can be made by calling Mary Ann at (440) 997-8940 or any Zonta Club member.
