ANDOVER – Pymatuning Area Chamber of Commerce is desperately seeking out vendors for their Fourth Annual Merchant Expo which is scheduled to take place Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at PV HS gymnasium.(From March 3 editon of The News).
According to President Lara Reibold, so far there are only three vendors signed up for the big event and are asking the community to step up now in order to feature their business for the 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. event.As stated in a PACOC letter: “The Merchant Expo is an opportunity to meet with local consumers and expose your business to the Pymatuning Area.”
Besides the vendors, the event will also consist of a Chinese Auction that PACOC encourages vendors to be part of by providing an item or a basket that can be raffled off.
All attendees will be supplied with one free door prize ticket, along with Chinese Auction tickets that will be available at the Chamber booth.
For those interested in being part of the expo, Reibold said that the chamber will provide one table and chair per space, along with trash receptacles.
“It’s a growing event and a great way for members and local businesses to showcase themselves to the community, said Reibold.
Those wishing to provide food are requested to provide samples from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with flatware and utensils as appropriate for the dish being served.
Please note that set up time will be from 4 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. that Wednesday at the high school and that the schedule will include business networking from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m., followed by open time for the public from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Chamber members are asked to pay $20 for a table and non-Chamber members $45, but if you join the Chamber they will put your fee towards your membership.
