Mustangs improve to 15-1

 The Grand Valley Mustangs picked up a 15-0 win over the visiting Badger Braves in a recent Northeaster Athletic Conference baseball match-up

The Mustangs improved to 14-1 on the season with the win. Robert Miller earned the win for the Mustangs. Lendak took the loss for the Braves.
Gary Gearhart was the only Mustang with two hits in the game. However, plenty of Mustangs drove in runs. Nick Reichek collected four RBI’s in the game to lead Grand Valley. Robert Miller, Logan Sines and Jake Reichek all drove in four runs.
The Mustangs stormed out of the gate in the victory with six runs in the first inning. Grand Valley then scored in the next three innings as well with four runs in the second inning, three runs in the third inning and two more runs in the fourth inning.
Grand Valley added another win over Newbury over the weekend. The Mustangs defeated the Black Knights 5-2. Gordon Seger earned the win for the Mustangs going five and two-thirds innings. Seger gave up two earned runs on five hits and three walks, while striking out six. Parsons took the loss for Newbury.
Nick Reichek led the Mustangs with three hits. Josh Cunninhgam added two hits for the Mustangs. Reichek and Anthony Crum each drove in two runs for the Mustangs.
