Attorney General DeWine Offers Updated Information Regarding the Equifax Breach

COLUMBUS, Sept. 20, 2017—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today offered updated information for consumers following the recent announcement by Equifax of a major data breach affecting over 5 million Ohioans. Equifax, one of the nation’s three major credit reporting bureaus, has stated that their system was compromised between May and July of this year and includes names, Social Security numbers, birth dates, addresses and driver’s license numbers.

Free Medicare Check-Up Day Event Coming to Lake County

COLUMBUS – The Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP), a division of the Ohio Department of Insurance, will visit Lake County to hold a Medicare Check-Up Day event on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at Concord Twp. Senior Group, located at 7671 Auburn Road in Painesville.

Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation awards scholarships

COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation recently awarded scholarships to recipients pursuing further education in an agriculture-related industry. Scholarships were awarded in amounts between $1,000-$2,200. Recipients receive the award after their first academic term at their listed college or university.
