Miracle League playground is open and kid tested

EASTLAKE - Build it and they will come. They did build the Lubrizol Miracle League inclusive playground for disabled children and adults at Classic Park at the corner of Route 91 and Vine Street in Eastlake. After the official ribbon cutting ceremony Sept. 21, the new playground, with its specially designed equipment and surface, faced its ultimate test…kids, lots of kids.

Census Bureau looking for Lake County workers

Senators Request Update On Drug Enforcement Law

WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct. 20, 2017 - U.S. Sens. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Ed Markey (D-MA) today led a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) requesting information on the impact of the Ensuring Patient Access and Effective Drug Enforcement Act highlighted in a recent report from the Washington Post and “60 Minutes.”

Ohio Lake Erie Commission hears from public

PAINESVILLE TOWNSHIP – The Ohio Lake Erie Commission held two public hearings on their draft cleanup plans for Lake Erie. The first was at the Lake Erie Center in Toledo Sept. 12 and the second was at the Painesville Township Hall Sept. 13.
