Students participate in summer manufacturing camps

CONCORD TOWNSHIP - Summer is underway and a number of fifth and sixth graders from Lake and Geauga counties continued learning through their participation in a manufacturing camp. This unique learning opportunity was provided through a partnership with Senator Sherrod Brown’s office, Auburn Career Center, Alliance for Working Together (AWT) and OhioMeansJobs Geauga County.

Bed tax money to buy Fairport Harbor land for development

Painesville – The Lake County Commissioners has approved use of recently-approved county bed tax funds for the purchase of about eight acres of land that can be used as part of the development of a proposed resort resort area on the Fairport Harbor waterfront.
